This is an important clarifying question! Coaching is goal-oriented and focuses on how to achieve a stated goal. It is rooted in the present and helping a person figure out who they want to become in the future.
Therapy is a type of treatment that typically looks to bring healing, wholeness, and meaning-making to past experiences.
Coaching is not a replacement for therapy, though many people engage in them simultaneously.

It’s normal to want to be guaranteed an outcome, particularly when you invest in yourself. As a coach, I partner with you to help you discover what you really want, how you will work to get there, and who you desire to become along the way.
I will ask you questions to aid you in gaining clarity and direction. But the work and outcome are yours to own!

While I customize sessions to meet the needs of the client, a typical session is 60 minutes and virtual.
We’ll spend our time together exploring your goals and values. I will ask you questions to guide you through your own discernment on what you want and how you want to get there. I will also challenge you to bet on yourself and hold yourself accountable to the actions needed to realize the goals you’ve made.

Gozo means joy in Spanish! And joy is a personal core value. The more life I live, the more I have to fight to retain my joy. But it’s a fight worth having. And it’s a fight that I’d love to coach you through, as well!
Gozo also has the English word GO in it. This resonates deeply, because I identify as a woman of action. I want to keep moving and growing and living fully. I’d also love to help you find your own momentum. -
I offer pay-what-you can rates for those who were in the USAID ecosystem (alumni, contractor, FSN, implementing partner).

Ooooh, you’re nosy! I like it. :)
I have been coached on SO many topics from having the courage to make a challenging phone call, asking people for help, and giving myself permission to say that a job was no longer working for me. I’ve also done coaching on how to be a better coach, and yes it’s as meta as it sounds. :)
You should know that while I will openly talk about what I’ve learned from my experience as a client, I maintain the highest level of confidentiality when coaching my own clients.
