Hi, I’m so glad that you are here. Really and truly.
I spent nearly a decade working for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). I deployed to crisis and disaster zones across the globe and had the privilege of representing the best of the American people to those in crisis. It was a dream job and I couldn’t have imagined a better professional path for myself. That all came crashing down when USAID was unconstitutionally dismantled.
What do you do when you lose your dream? You grieve. Hard. And then you dream again!
For most of my life I’ve had people tell me that I should be a life coach or that they thought of me as their “unofficial life coach”. Those seeds became the start of a new dream.
I am formally trained by Co-Active Training Institute, an International Coaching Federation accredited coaching school. I also have a master’s degree in Diplomacy and International Relations. Both degrees affirmed my love of nuance, people, and life-long learning.
Perhaps more important than my education, I have personally experienced unwanted change and have found my own agency and joy in the aftermath. I coach from a place of knowing that life can be brutal and yet it is possible to find goodness after loss.
When I’m not coaching I am most likely exploring the world, cooking for my friends, reading fluffy novels, training to run a race very slowly, studying Spanish, scuba diving, championing my nieces, or volunteering at my church. Somewhere in there I do a few loads of laundry. ;)
I live a big, full, joy-filled life and I’d LOVE to empower you to live one too!
